First, Lets See what's new in Android N!!

Google have announced new release of Android, named 'Android N'. Google have added so many great features to this new release. Lets see one by one...

Multitasking

1) Multitasking and Better Notifications

The most noticeable feature of Android N is Multi-Window Mode. iOS 9 have this feature but it is limited for iPad.

Lets see what Google thinks about this feature.

On handheld devices, two apps can run side-by-side or one-above-the-other in split-screen mode. On TV devices, apps can use picture-in-picture mode to continue video playback while users are interacting with another app.

We have seen this feature in many Samsung mobiles, specially in Galaxy Note series. But now Google officially included this feature in this latest release.

To use this feature in Android N, you have to open an app and long press on overview button.

You can use the divider to adjust the screen size available for each app.

2) Data Saver

Data Saver

Google cares so much about their users. Now a days the cellular data costs so much and may expensive for some users. To resolve this issue at some instance they have introduced a new feature called 'Data Saver'. This feature when enabled, reduces data uses by blocking background data.

3) Quick Setting Panel

Quick settings

The appearance of quick setting panels is same as Android M, but Android N have more room for quick setting tiles. Also user can swipe left-right to access remaining tiles.

4) Direct Reply

Direct reply

Users can now reply to messages directly over the notification panel. That means there is no need to open the messaging app to reply.

Wanna know what is the 'N'??

Google have released Android 'N' so early and unexpectedly, therefore they haven't yet decided about 'N'. So you have to wait little more to know more about the "N'. Until, keep guessing. According to some unofficial sources the 'N' stands for 'Nutella'.

Official release date

With reference to official Android Developer site, Android N will be available after July 2016. Google have planned 5 previews before the final release.

As Android N is still in developer preview, we have to wait little more.
